RANDom thought: “Class has nothing to do with money” -Ann Landers
This week’s topic is one that I am most certainly not an expert in discussing. However, after successfully raising three children as a single Mom with very little child support and never filing for bankruptcy, I feel I have some credibility in this space. 😊
I admire people who have gained financial freedom, and I am not just talking about being rich. I am talking about those with all their bills paid each month on time, own a home, a car, have six months or more money in savings, and maybe have a few stocks. I have studied stocks and even been in an investment club, but I have never had the nerve to put my money into stocks outside of my retirement stocks. I believe this stems from my experience of needing every dollar I made to support my family, and the fear of losing any money I worked for scared me to death.
So, I reach out to experts in this area to share with my podcast listeners, blog readers, and other followers of my various media. This week, I will discuss my fear of money on the FB live, and then on Thursday’s podcast, I am interviewing an expert in this field. Amanda Neely of Grandma’s Wealth Wisdom. Remember, as my Grandfather always said, “Take time to stop and smell the roses”!
Until we meet again, take care.
