New year, new you, lose weight, set your new year goals, manage your money better, get your dream job, work out more, meditate more, drink less, and create your new year vision! Am I the only one that wants to fast forward to February and ignore all the January pressure to be better and do better year after year?
As we enter 2023, we are all subject to ads and social media posts about losing weight, setting goals, working out more, eating better, drinking less, making more money, and other ways to improve ourselves. Before you buy anything or signup for a vision board session, ask yourself, do I really need it? Before making changes, you need to know your starting point. Are you overweight? Do you drink too much alcohol? Are you eating poorly? Do you have too much debt? If you made goals or new year's resolutions last year, revisit them. What goals did you achieve? What goals did you not achieve? If you didn't set goals last year, why?
These are essential questions to ponder as you think about how this year will be different. Analyzing how you set goals and achieve them or not achieve them will help you make changes or improvements.
